Nourish & Flourish Initiative
Nearly half of the children enrolled in the Oshkosh Area School District (OASD) face economic hardship, often leading to food insecurity. Research indicates that this can have severe consequences for a child’s development, health, and behavior. To address this issue, the Oshkosh Area Community Pantry works in collaboration with the OASD schools and community parnters to provide students and families with additional food support during school breaks. This support helps ensure that children in need don’t have to worry about where their next meal will come from despite being out of school where they receive breakfast and lunch.
