The Oshkosh Area Community Pantry recently recognized a number of volunteers that received the President’s Volunteer Service Award in the Bronze category. This award is the premier volunteer awards program in the United States, with these volunteers being honored for their service of between 100 – 250 hours.
As the needs in our community continue to grow, we are so grateful for those who help us in so many areas; for example, the registration process, stocking the shelves, filling the backpacks, teaching food classes, food delivery, data entry, filing, assisting clients with their shopping—and more! A special thank you to Andrea Bielby, Bob Case, Bonnie Stienke, David Abraham, Esther Stegemann, Greg Gibbons, James Paulsen, Jean McCarthy, Jenny Musil, the OACP Board, Pat, Jim, and Scott Witzke, Steve Kohel, Terry Oberlies and Tim Sullivan.
If you are interested in making a similar valuable contribution to your community, the OACP would be very happy to find a volunteer “fit” for you. If interested, send us a note here: http://www.oacptoday.org/volunteer/
